Some great News . After the Victorian floods earlier this year the ABC radio , May 25th 2011 has reported this week that wool is the best quality on record in Victoria, a farmer said.
Western Australian Ports were exceptionally busy loading cows under 350kg onto boats for export because the conditions were so good for feed they were growing fast and could not be transported over this weight. They shifted 20,000 in one day!
The prawn industry in far Nth Queensland reports prawning is like they have found gold . The prawns have proliferated after the strong wet season.
Also the mouse plague is weakening in Victoria.
( I'll believe that when l stop having to lay bait every 2 days!)

A Broccoli farmer in the Mildura district is unable to sell his broccoli because the heavy rains from earlier on in the year has caused his broccoli heads to weigh in in at one and a half kg.. The size of a basketball!!
He said at $5 a Kg the supermarkets cannot sell them. He has had to cut most of them and leave them to rot
