A surprise 4mm tonight so now im up to 45mm for the event.
I was out at Glenhope near Baynton today, its fairly wet looking out there and small creeks are starting to run.
Coldish day in the highlands today, Mt Macedon had its hat on so i only made it to 7.5C.

Another 2mm overnight. Nice to see it still ticking over. Maybe another 5-10mm in the coming week as a few cold fronts whisk through.

We might struggle to get over 10c on a couple of days late next week.

Decent burst of showers with that front. Didn’t last long but just over 3mm in FC and just shy of 10mm at Walkerville. Nice to get a good string of damp days :D

Next week looking wintery with potential for quite low snow levels. Resorts need it with basically zero cm give or take across the Vic resorts :o

Drizzly and foggy morning up here. Looks like it could be a damp day with on and off showers. I was expecting today to be mostly dry with a late shower, but the wstly streams is now quite humid.

Still the odd shower Sun/Mon before a long-lived cold spell (new thread time :D ).

Another mm in the gauge this morning. Month continues to slowly tick over. Still about 40mm below average here so need it to continue. Had lots of wet days, but mostly dribbles.

Quite unstable today with chilly uppers, though no focus so isolated and slow moving. Would not be surprised if the odd heavy shower had small hail, but most spots will be dry.

Cold showery week ahead. Won’t be big falls, but hopefully adds up. Some snow in the alps which will be welcome, though tending to look more like a southern Vic event at this point.

I can confirm that it’s hailing in Werribee.

Colder in Sydney than in Melbourne today.

Still mid-30s near Wyndham in Northern Australia.

Weird setup ahead with an ECL and then a high centred over Tasmania all week.

Just got the edge of those showers here. Nice dark base, and looked more like a spring storm than winter shower :D

Picked up 1.4mm in a slow-moving shower this afternoon. Agree that it felt much more of spring or even summer-like showers today.

Very interesting weather, I drove through that tropical downpour in Werribee today. It was definitely a spring like rain shower, cumulus clouds and all! Brilliant.

I pointed out the sky to my wife this arvo up here, "Love the sky! Unusual for this time of year" Like others have said, had a spring look to it!

That setup is a recipe for day-long fog, cloud, showers, frost and light winds for days on end (not necessarily all at the same time ofcourse). An interesting week coming up. Should be some good pics after it.

The fog didn't lift until 11am here this morning and it's currently 10c.

Obviously a really strong inversion as temps are quite warm where the inversion is absent - ie. Already 17c in Melbourne, which is ridiculous.

But we'll struggle to get in to double figures after today, this week.

Yeah fog here to start with, was expecting a frost, didn't happen all good.
"C'mon on down" Jasmine and tell us there is something on the distant horizon to bring rain
Thanks Chris
