Raining here this morning. Just started about 20minutes ago.
What's normal? Maybe this IS normal. Perhaps the last 50 to 150 years were in fact abnormal.

Not this again. ;) All good.
Steady rain here in Dandenong, looking forward to some cold wet days.

I should have added a smiley face as i didn't mean it to be serious.

I didn't expect today to be like this at all. Maybe a bit cloudy, but damp and grey? Love it :D

I didn't expect it to be this cool either, considering the forecast top of 19 and it's currently 14C in the CBD and breezy. I underdressed! (didn't forget the all-important umbrella though).

Looking forward to some decent colder weather.

Whilst I love the heat and despise the cold, I know it's not good for our planet. There is no way 20 years ago I could still be sitting on the beach and swimming/surfing in the bay/ocean pretty comfortably in nothing but boardies this close to June.

Anyway, good welcome rain on the ninch this morning, now the clouds are parting - sun shining but wind picking up, god I hate the wind.

Quite surprised you get about 2mm this morning. Still rather warm outside however before next week's colder weather. Can't wait :D :D :D

Surprise 5mm In FC this morning. Not often it rains when it’s not meant to so happy with the start. First front tonight, second tomorrow arvo and third Sunday arvo. Wound like a hundred. Is that greedy :P

Btw the weather models we all use wouldn’t function without the greenhouse effect. Something to keep in mind. Let’s keep it nice as this is a great community :D

Maybe just a little, but the Dandenongs could do it... All I want is 46mm to crack 200 for May! :)

My weather station predicts a maximum of 9 on Wednesday and 11 on Thursday. Let's see how that pans out

Currently there is increasing moisture in the mid levels to the west of Melbourne, no temp inversion and TT's in the 50's. Interesting to see if anything pops over the next few hours.

Edit: Signs of a developing squall line in the SW

Scored 3.2mm this morning, during which time the temp dropped to 13.3°C, had been close to 20°C earlier and was again when I got home later in the afternoon from seeing the 'boss' at the nursing home.

I must have the record for most deleted posts on this forum

...Anyway, yet another mild day. Did not expect to hit 20c after the patchy rain this morning. Shows how mild the air mass is.

BOM beginning to show interest, though rain totals look less interesting the closer you are towards the city.

This area did not do well with the last two systems, so hopefully this makes up for it.
