A lovely spell of autumn weather here - if only we'd had a few inches of rain prior so we could properly enjoy it! (At least eastern Vic and the high country mostly finished March with a bang.)
Meanwhile, looks like weak fronts clipping past Friday night/Saturday, and again Monday, but no real rain in sight. Hope the next WA cyclone/low provides some moisture for the next significant system - whenever that is ?

Still not much to get excited about maybe a shower tomorrow. Warm, almost hot, one today.
In stats I wish we didn’t break, thw city has had the driest start to a year on record for Melbourne (42mm).
We're on 25mm YTD. 1923 and 1965 still the driest start to a year up to April 5 on record for us though - 9mm for both. 1923 is notable for only getting it's first decent drop of rain on May 8. And then a real wet winter after that with 350 mm falling between May 8 and August 14 that year!
23C here for a max so getting warm for mid autumn. Gusty winds and hazy, maybe even a bit of dust.
I flew in over outback SA this arvo and there was a big dust storm south of Lake Eyre. Here’s a shot from the plane. Would expect it must have moved into parts of NSW and Vic.
Meanwhile, half decent band of storms over the far southwest. Should push through overnight, but be pretty sparse for most. Might get a rumble and a mm or just a gusty westerly change
Zilch overnight More like a January front than an April one. Storms sparse and split locally
Guess we now look to late Monday til Wednesday which looks a bit better for southern areas, but again looks pretty lean for northern parts. Some chance late next week will see a cut-off develop over eastern Australia. Be good to have something to break this pattern.
I read a post saying Warburton got some of that rain last night..
someone needs to hold another outdoor party, we got 55mm for mine,
Someone else's turn..

Big storm down here about 1.30am last night. Lasted about 10 minutes but very heavy rain was produced. Friend in Dandenong said they got nothing.
Much in the gauge?
We picked up a little mizzle. Somewhere between 0.1 and 0.2mm.
Front for Monday arvo and second for Tuesday look ok for southern Vic. Progs holding around 10mm, perhaps near 20mm for here. Will be dribbles north of the divide and in the rainshadowed western plains. Does look like there could be a weak infeed so might sneak a few mms through the southern Wimmera and northern country. Quite cold with snow about the peaks.
Cut off late in the week. Looks ok for Gippsland and then NSW. Might sneak something in central areas, but lots of uncertainty.

4.6mm. The Melbourne Water site up the road got 2mm. But sure was intense for a few minutes, including thunder and lightning
Getting fairly heavy showers around the Dandenongs ATM. Unfortunately band is narrow and doesn't look like it will last long
So far scored about 2mm.
Still no sign of rain for us. More raised dust yesterday. I haven't seen the countryside this bad for over a decade.
Had a few friends in rural areas over the weekend and their reports are not good. Reports of dry and dusty conditions away from the immediate coast, and extensive tree die back. Progs still not really showing anything substantial (though might sneak something ), and next week looks like be unseasonably warm.
Starting to get lumpy out there with the odd almost thundry shower. 3mm here now and 4mm at our nearby AWS. EC showing a bit of an upgrade the next 24 hours so might give a bit for people.
I see a shower inbound for Bendigo and others in the northern country. Let’s hope so
