There is a bit of black in that storm moving through Mangalore and Seymour.
I might even get a bit out of it, but don't want any
black on the radar over me!
Event has finally started here in Tassie: Rain since 9am yesterday: Gray 71mm, Flinders Island Apt 62mm, St Helens 54mm, Eddystone 30mm, Mt Victoria 28mm, Mathinna 26mm
That storm looks nasty! I was thinking it will miss me but it’s growing bigger so I’m not to sure now...
everything in waterlogged after yesterday’s storm.
60mm here yesterday with 50mm coming from 1 Thunderstorm and 80mm for the event so far, the average for December is 42mm.

Intense 10 minute hailstorm at hanging rock. Now looks like it has snowed!
Must look spectacular!
We just had a near miss, it went to our South. More development in the Goulburn Valley already so it'll be a fun day today. EC reckons another 25mm over the weekend for us...
Sitting on 20mm for the event - very lucky to even get that. NE is not our direction here. Not expecting anything today infact a good outside day might cut the lawns. Just watching countless storms sail past into western Melbourne. If this was the normal pattern this area would be the "eastern desert".
Anything that remotely looks like getting here gets torn by the main range (Donna Buang) or the north side of the Dandenongs. Perhaps tomorrow when the low shifts south we might scrape a few mm together.
We were on the edge of it here as well, Snowfall. Still managed to get a very quick 10mm out of it with hail and loud thunder and eerie green light.
Somewhere near 70mm for the event now. This is my kind of summer. Long may she rain over us.
Home- "Shepherd's Bush" at Mt Macedon. 870m
Work- "Bolobek" at Macedon. 430m

Not often I hope a storm will miss, but glad that thing went south of us. Too much black!
Cracker of a storm. 15mm in 10 min, hail, constant strobe lightning, wall cloud. Airport recorded a gust of 74 km/h. Worst part was on the eastern flank, SE of here. Now up to 35mm, trying to catch up with the rest of the thread
The mothership is still dragging moisture into big parts of Vic. Any little tight convergence, can go off quickly.
@Macedonian, probably a micoburst on the front of the storm.
Moisture plumes are going up again in the mid levels NE of here.
Melbournian's.... keep a close eye on wind observations bayside. If they continue to swing back to the north this afternoon, there is potential for another local convergence around Melbourne with lots of moisture to feed it. Current DP's near 20c in a few places
