16mm here, nice drop and fairly normal for that set at this time of year.

I'm seeing upper cold pools reaching further north in WA in a week or so and that middle eastern cyclone last week is changing the dynamic of the sea surface temperatures in the Indian ocean. http://www.theaustralianweatherforum.co ... 31#p105331

All shredded by the ranges as expected so only dribbles in the Dandenongs with 2mm at our place. Showers on and off for the next of the week, so should add a bit more. Would love to crack 150mm for the month, but still need about 10mm which will be a bit touch and go.

Good to see the solid falls last night through the Wimmera to North Central, where it’s been a bit of a struggle for rain last few months.

Interesting looking patch of orange in this inbound bit of rain on the radar tonight. Hope it makes it over the ranges.

Up to 20mm for the event and still raining (5mm this evening). A cold 8c at present too. Love it!

It should get some of the dry sown crops started.

Solid band of rain heading this way. Will be nice to add to the 6mm last night. Still very dry here in the north.

Rain shredded by the ranges again, not helped by mid level swly flow which is now established. Stuck on 2mm in FC.

Good to see those decent falls again north of the divide.

Now waiting for tomorrow’s front which should be better for southern areas.

And we're kicking goals this week. Another 13mm overnight (29mm this week)! About double my wildest expectation.

MTD is 64mm (above average now).

Yeah Strato, finally have something to talk about.
16mm Monday night and another 24.5 last night.
Takes us to about 100mm for the month, can't complain about that.

cheers Chris

Fantastic to see those good falls for north central - certainly looked as if you guys were in the sweet spot on the radar.

Hovered just north of here and we only managed 0.5mm - but expect not far north would have been 10mm plus.

Yes the rain just hovered to our north too. Managed around 1mm, but we were right on the edge. Clearly lots of areas around the central ranges and northwards did very well, with the rain area quite slow moving.

I'm not one to complain, but... just too far south yesterday, just too far north today?

Nice rainband 'tis. Finally benefiting this area with the almost west east trajectory

First proper rain of the day here with this band. Far too wet to check the manual gauge.

Surprised to have scored 11mm from the front. GFS and EC had piddles. Puts us comfortably over our monthly average.

Just a tick over 21mm since 5pm yesterday.

Skies cleared about 5am this morning, and the temperature nosedived to about 5 degrees as well.

Tomorrow and Saturday morning should be quite cold too (pending cloud cover).

Next week's 17 and 18 IMO looking a little ambitious at this stage. Perfect conditions for fog and low cloud to hang around.

Classic early June.

2.5mm overnight, not much but brings us to 108mm for the month vs 60.5mm average.

Been a good May for many areas in the end :). After a poor start to the year, we're now only 20mm behind average for ytd.

Nearly bang on average for maximum and minimum temps after a warm start to May has been countered by a cool finish. An icy 3.5C outside now, which feels worse with a stiff southerly.
