Hope the Fog clears I remember days like thsi in the past where the fog lingered all day and the temp stayed in single figures.
Particularly a weekend back in the 70's where the fog lingered for two days and the temp in the city never got above 7c for the whole weekend, I went to the Footy on the saturday and froze my b***s off.
Going to the Footy again today (go DEES) and its still only 7c.

Got down to 2.3C here at around 0630 but now its feels very nice outside! Not a breath of wind now and bright sunshine and its around 11C

It is only 7.8C in the city very odd?

Fog still lingering here but slowly lifting. 6.7 degrees still.

Just watched the Channel 2 weather, they said a max in Melbs today of 11.6C, thats low! how come? Fog? we had a clear day up on the mount (for once and about b time) It was icy, frost still around at 11am by the time i got up there. Dont know what the max temp was but it would not have been far behind melbs for a change, felt like 9 or 10 to me. A nice day.

Fog finally cleared about 2.30pm here but it was too late for the temp to rise much and we hit a top of just 9.1c at 4.16pm.
Now its back to 5.9c so another cold one with a bit more fog later I think

Stayed clear and sunny all day here, and felt really warm in the sun. Max temp was about 12c so we were warmer than most places in the Melbourne area for a change. Clear and 5.7c here now.

Up in the Dandenongs we were above the fog and the haze all day. It was sunny and clear. Normally it's the opposite

Same for us at Mount Macedon. It was a lovely sunny day. It is freezing here now, heaviest frost of the season so far. It is -2C now. Yee-haw

Got down to a chilly 0.9C here last night (coldest of the season so far). There was very heavy fog at around 7pm last night but it was all cleared by 10pm. Now it is Sunny and clear and its already a mild 12.9C outside with no wind at all.

Took my boy for a trip on Puffing Billy yesterday - was engulfed in fog all the way to Upwey/Tecoma, then burst through to glorious sunshine. Incredibly cold rattling along on the train and remarkable how much warmer it was up at Emerald.
Made it down to the coldest night this year back home overnight, down to 0.8c at around 6.45 this morning. Heading off to Hong Kong this arvo, going to be a shock to the system

14.4C atm hopefully it reaches 16C by mid afternoon. We are 0.3C off the warmest in the state, Mildura is sitting on 14.7C. Adelaide is already 16C so it could be a mild one tomorrow in Melbourne.

Yes Chris the sunshine was glorious up here yesterday. It's been so depressing for the last week with just drizzle, cold and mist every day. Safe travels. Nice and warm in Hong Kong

Beautiful day today it reached a mild 16.3C with sunny skies and light winds! It is around 15.5C now and sunny.

Wet and cold now as this band of showers comes through. Very wintery again today down here - anything that looks half like a cloud is now likely to give us a shower. Luckily all the wood is in the shed!

Watching 3 seperate tree's with broken branches all waiting to fall, all in the neighbours yards.

Lost power for about 10 minutes then time to stop for a Cuppa.
