11.6mm's to 9am this morning and another 1.8mm's since then.
Top temp here was 11.2c now its just under 10.
Getting some rumbles from an active cell just to the South of me.
Looks like it will miss me to the East though.

Cold one in FC with a max of just 5.6C. Just 1.5mm of rain :( so another disappointment. Bit worried we are going to turn in a very ordinary July (just ~10mm in the city and ~55mm in FC ATM) despite all these fronts. Again, the main action is heading through coastal areas and Bass Strait.

Had a bit of hail, so definitely a wintery feel to it.

-2c this morning and now the cloud has rolled in. Freezing.

EC looks half-decent for some OK falls next week and beyond. It might salvage July if its predicted 27mm over the next 10 days happens...

2.6mm's of rain in the 24 hours to 9am brings the monthly total to 68.2mm's just short of the long term average of 71.6mm's
Doing ok this month when you consider the fact that most of Melbourne and most of the state is nowhere near the monthly average.

Polar and sub tropical jets are going to interact around S.A late tonight on EC 12Z run. This next front tomorrow night is going to have some serious winds gusts with upper instability if that verifies.

Keeping an eye on that rogue upper low this Friday as well. -25c @ 500 hPa over the Mallee on all models. That can be a breeding ground for the bass strait cut off lows and ECL's.
