Hi Lily.

Location: Burwood (Wattle Park)

An amazing 103.5mm for the month
a total of 558.0mm YTD

Other nerdy stats:

- I have had 1 metre of rain since the 4th of September 2010 (266 days)
- This works out roughly at 3.76mm per day over this period
- I received 66.5mm more in May 2011 than in May 2010 (37mm total in 2010)
- Year to date I am 358mm ahead of the same time last year
- My 2011 Autumn total of 272mm is 87.6% up on last year (145mm)
- I have been unable to mow the lawn now for about 6 weeks because the ground is too bloody soggy!!!!

Cheers, :D

Rog.

Thanks everyone :D

I'm yet to get the rainfall map up, working on a new one that our wonderful Mutley has put together for us but it will take a little time. In the meantime, keep posting your figures here and I'll get it all together as soon as possible, apologies for the delay.

Tizz, of course it's of use you duffer! Tony, cheapo stations are fine 8-) Rog, love the nerdy stats lol, awesome :D and Chris, you need to get to work on the wife of yours! Wasn't she chasing with you when pregnant? She hasn't caught the bug yet :P

A pitiful 15.6mm in Bendigo, the first below average month for about 8 months. It's dried up alot up here, would love a good average rainfall for June to green things up.

Hi Lily,

From my neck of the woods:

May total: 106mm

YTD: 561mm

:D

Here's my interesting stat. In the 12 months from June 2010 until May 2011 (inclusive) I have received a massive 1187.5mm. That's insane!!!!

EDIT: I just thought I'd add that I calculated for the same timeframe the year before (June '09 to May '10) and came up with 699.5mm.

BTW, Hi jflg, great to have a sydney-sider with us :)
