Nice sparky system cell to the SE at the moment ahead of the main stuff. Proabably over Endeavour Hills.

Just light rain here, looks like I'll miss this part of the action and maybe get something a little later, the eastern burbs will do well

Taken at Smythes Creek at 6:06 today, facing roughly north. So the line is running NW-SE... What do you all think?? :D

Yes, I have a perfect view towards all of Endeavour Hills, and you are spot on, A very clear lightning bolt just came down just on the other side of E Hills

Thought i would finally bite the bullet and take this awesome evening to make my first post.
Not good with anything technical but pretty excited with what's in store tonight.
Am hoping that cell near ballan intensifies and pushes through further east to Bayswater.
Welcome, ballan to bayswater, geeze you are keen, but in with a chance, I cant make it across the bay before all fall down go boom.
Well when you look at it like that Mick. LOL

Pitch black to my west and dead calm. Bring it on!

Took the camera with me today, just in case, and this was on the drive home from Ballarat. Just pure luck, right place, right time! :)

Is it normal for the Doppler Radar to look like that? How there's wind poking through into the west suburbs?

Nice big fat drops falling here now in Burwood, but only a distant rumble or 2. Saw some great scud coming through to my south just before it got too dark to see out there.
