Went into fog at our place ~6pm and had drizzle overnight. About 4mm in the gauge. MTD is just shy of 8mm so not a great start to the month, but anything is welcome at this point ahead of what looks like being another scorcher of a summer.
An odd system as it started as a deep subtropical cut-off in the Indian Ocean which meant the airmass on its western side was very moisture and humid (even though the tropical infeed got swept south).
