Watch summer continue into April like it has for the past 10 years. It definitely feels like it has a habit now of being Hot in January, milder in February, then back to hot in March and very warm in the first half of April.
I agree. We get the reprieve in feb and then pay for it in march and april. Not really a very good deal inmho

Down to 8.3c here. Feels colder than it actually is after becoming accustomed to intense heat! Yes, I’m pretty certain there will be more summer to come. I usually find that it doesn’t start feeling like autumn until at least the second half of March, or longer in some years.
Looking forward to a nice warm end to March, good time for a camping holiday. Meanwhile plenty of showers here in Doveton, getting cold and wet washing the truck.
Max of 14.7C here today so cool. Plenty of showers just south of here, but nothing in the gauge System just too westerly in the end.
Nothing much to get excited about in the progs in the next week. Warm weekend, and a bit troughie but no moisture to play with. Front on Monday is weak. Perhaps something strong in about seven days. Progs look like we’re going to get hot in about ten days, but lot could change before then.
Certainly felt the temperature difference on the bike this morning, made it a little tricky when it came to choice of cycling tops when getting dressed for the ride in (long or short sleeve).
Heading down to the island this weekend to enjoy the warm weather. Hopefully there will be no bushfires to ruin my plans this time.

Patiently waiting for something interesting. Have done okay rain wise compared to elsewhere, but 15mm spread over 7 days doesn't blow one's socks off
Monsoon gone a little quiet, which means heat will start building again..
When did we have that really wet April? Was it two years ago? Curious as to what the patterns were like when that happened.
Temperatures in the tropics starting to heat up again. Cairns has just broken its record for days above 36C for the time of year, while Innisfail had its honest February day on record, and Townsville a late season record. There’s a very strong westerly wind burst in the Pacific which bodes poorly with another pulse of warming in the pacific subsurface set to entrench the near El Niño conditions for a while longer (or worse). None of this make me too confident about an early autumn break or a productive year ahead. Lots of time for things to change (hopefully)..... fingers crossed.
7 to 19C here today so on the cooler side, but warming up now.
