Yet another day of garbage northerly winds. So over this crap! :cussing:

Have a bad feeling about the upcoming summer if this period of wind is anything to go by.

A quick 5mm in FC from the first band of showers. Mild day for us with 11C but now down to 6C.

Rainband looks ok. Should be worth at least another 5mm.

Really needing this rain, so fingers crossed for a sneaky heavy fall.

Those falls in Tas are great to see. Year is really turning out quite good down there.

PS radar starting to get quite thundery. Looks like our first spring like front :o

Hearing a few rumbles here, not all that close, least as yet. 3.6mm so far.

Getting nearer.

Didn't happen on the south side of town, more toward the northern side and harcourt.
Didn't seem to last too long.

Cool. We’ve had that a couple of times in the past :D

Plenty of hail here and quite large (for winter). Got to about 1cm size, but mostly pea size. Closing in on 7mm so starting to add up.

Looks like the snow level will sit above us again with this one. Thinking briefly dropping to about 700m. Be some solid falls in the alps.

Just got home after driving through rain, thunder, and lightning. No hail though. Steady rain here and a wintry 5c.

Ive never experienced it until tonight.
We had the large hail for a while and then it turned to proper snow.
Temp dropped really fast from 5.4 to 1.4C

Just past 10mm here and temperature dipped to 3.8C. Had a bit of sleety rain, but just too warm again for proper snow :( Only a degree or so in it again (which happens way too frequently nowadays).

Looks to be clearing now, with another arvo front brewing for tomorrow. Not quite as strong, but should deliver a bit of follow-up.

Good to see falls extending into the Wimmera with this one with widespread 5-10mm. Looks like the Mallee has probably missed out, as expected :(
