Too much smoke haze to see anything here. Good to see the fuel reduction, but not not making for ideal autumn days and nights
Back in the no weather for three weeks rut Maybe the odd shower later today, and again around Wednesday. Struggling to think of such a dismal three month period for weather....

Can report the same thing from down here. Very thick smog. Will be one of those days where even if it is sunny it'll be very hazy and smelly. Could struggle to get to 20 degrees today.

36mm from Feb 1 to now
Crazy dry
Does not look like shifting
Yes I'm finding this pattern rather disturbing, and really not sure what it will take to shift it. Thankfully we've had a couple of systems come through to keep things going completely dry, but we're still well down on the February, March and April averages. Only 57mm since the start of Feb here. Another warm day today - maxed out at 24.6c.
Up here in Wangaratta we're running 5 degrees above average, 27.1 is the average this month with not long left, can't see it dropping below 26 average by the end!
I drove from Mt Buffalo to Ferny Creek yesterday. The land is so dry and I noticed on the road that goes to Bonnie Doon from the turn off to Benalla at some points the road was lined with dying gum trees. They looked just terrible and I can see them all having to be cut down. It's so sad
Wow that’s a humongous High moving in next weekend
I cannot ever remember such a sudden shift like someone just turned the tap off
At this rate we will continue to see temp and (lack of)rainfall records broken well into May
