West, has looked grey few times this morning, then it slips past,
Radar showing it possibly slipping past and building behind..
I might hang washing out in hope..

6am temp in Melbourne this morning broke the old record by 2C. That heat now sits over Victoria where Gabo Island has broken it's record high by near 2C :(
The past week is not like any April I have ever experienced.
It's not happened before. Yesterday was Victoria's hottest day on record (both in terms of the hottest temp anywhere and also averaged across the state).

Got some news from the BOM re that Wimmera radar.
Not very good news really.
They told me that they are still in the process of finalizing the site.
Once that happens it will be 2 years before its operational.
So much for the radar being on track to open in 2018 which is what was reported last year. :x
