20mls recorded here, less than I had hoped, as we are on tank water solely, but by the same token, still a good drink for the thirsty garden, some places recieved a lot less, so must be content with how the cookie crumbled... :rainfall:

What an incredible few days for the central area. I had 43mm at my place last night and 47mm at work at Bolobek in Macedon.
So thats 93mm for january at home at Mt Macedon and 98mm at work in Macedon. Unusual for macedon to have more than the mountain but there you go.
My drinking water tank at work had gone a bit smelly a fortnight ago and yesterday i drained and cleaned it. I certainly didnt think i would come in and find it full to the brim the very next day!
Great news for this area in re. to the bushfire risk as well. A lot lower now than it was a week ago.
I for one am glad the heat/humidity has gone. It was 8C at mine this morning, a beautiful cold summers morning 8-)
Home- "Shepherd's Bush" at Mt Macedon. 870m
Work- "Bolobek" at Macedon. 430m

Just on 20mm according to the AWS but the spiders are a shocker for clogging it up so there might have been a bit more. Very little run off so the garden was ready for it. Now for a nice slightly cool week.

27mm's overnight here taking the MTD to 64.7mm's - Ave is 43mm's.
Great to see widespread falls of more than 40mm's in the normally drier Western and NW suburbs. :D

Amazing fall Macedonian! I'm not all that surprised though having watched your area disappear under the radar red, yellow and orange quite a lot lately.

We ended up with 16mm to add to 31mm from storms, and we'll probably finish the month on 59mm vs 53mm average, so looking much better than we were less than a week ago.

A whopping 1 mm overnight. The rain band fell apart at the northern edge. Drizzling now, and great to have some cooler air after a run of 10 days above 35C. 20 mm total for the event with a couple of nice storms, so can't complain.

Magnificent! 9C here, first single figure temp for weeks. Hard to believe what it was like just two days ago!

A simply magnificent 45mm recorded at home in Burnside Heights. :D

It's about time we had something decent out here in the normally dusty plains of the west. Combined with my watering efforts, this should really set my garden up nicely for the remainder of summer.

A very handy 64.5mm here, which brings our MTD to 91.2mm. The fog has lifted this morning, with some light drizzle about. Currently 12.6c, which is feeling arctic after the tropical conditions of the past week!

We managed 20mm last night. Much more than the other side of town which only got 7mm. January total for us is 25mm which is just below average.

Such a nice cool Southerly. Windows are open....

15mm here, a pretty good result I think. Now it's 16 degrees and the wind is bitter!

Tipped out 36mm, very handy fall after we only got a few mm from the storms over the weekend.

Wearing two layers around the house - bliss!

Good to see that the dunes and dust plains of the western desert got a good soaking.

About 28mm here, which is a good drink.
