Temp here was 10 overnite. I was discusssing with my wife that back in the 60's I don't recall such big temperature swings in summer. 16mm fell here overnite bringing an event total of 24mm.
Some great falls in NE Melbourne. 30 to 50mm Nice drop for you Didjman, you were in a southerly streaming sweet spot. Nice snow pic HB.
3mm for the thread and that makes it 3mm for the year so far. Didn't expect too much, as the thread was always east of here. Looking a little nasty now up here with near 40's coming at the end of the week.
Just 6.7mm's in the last 24 hours about the lowest in the whole Metro area
was really in the cold spot, but still event total is 20mm's so happy with that.
Accumulated 14.2mm for the event here. We picked up some of those southerly streaming showers last night, but just a little too far west for the main stuff. I see Laverton had almost 20mm yesterday, so it would seem that parts of the western suburbs did quite well with the southerly as well, though not quite as well as the northeast suburbs.
Sitting on 19.2mm so may nudge 20mm by tomorrow. As said in last post a good garden water followed by a bit of coolness which will mean no need to water for a few days.
Came home to 7mm to add to our 4.5mm to 9am yesterday... plus the pool cover blown off and the pool full of leaves and bark . Looks like we had a bit of a storm sometime yesterday.
