Great to see those big falls in the dry western areas of Melbourne.
I Have been in the cold spot here in the last 24 hours with just 7.4mm's
in the 24 hours to 9am. System total now 25.6mm's MTD 27.0mm's
and YTD 223mm's.
Overcast but mostly dry here so far today with just a few spits of drizzle.
Looks like calmer and milder conditions over the next few days.

I@Skywalker – It’s no longer the weather boredom zone
Jasmine, Caroline Springs will always be the boredom zone.
Yes we got plenty of rain over the weekend, but it's been absolute ages since we last had a severe storm & it obviously never snows here during winter. It's also worth noting that this amount of rain is a rare one off for us. Normally during the cooler months the eastern suburbs gets all the wet stuff & we get bugger all.
Sun briefly poking out here at work.
Caroline Springs, Melbourne's meteorological boredom zone.
Lovely wintry day here today with 11.7c as a max. Added a little more to the gauge with drizzle and light showers to bring the event total to 75mm. Tanks are full, which I didn't think would happen at this point in the season. Currently drizzling again now. I think this event will be memorable not just for the rain but, as Jasmine mentioned, for the near cyclonic conditions with hours of driving rain and wild winds. Quite a bit of debris on the roads around here this morning.

Anyone notice Darwin is sitting on 20 degrees at the moment? Must be wearing jackets up there
They're probably wearing full polar gear! Incidentally, the current low daily max record for April in Darwin is 24.6c set in 1954. A good chance of that being broken I reckon...

...and down to 18C now, looks like a new record low is going to be set!
Just emptied the Nylex and found 44mm in it, so pretty good in the end. 46mm MTD.

Some boredom and maybe some action later next week coming up for us, I think we need a new thread.
Difficult, nothing much happening to have a thread about. There's always the "Day to day weather talk" thread which gets little use.
Next Wednesday or Thursday looks to be the next "event" worthy of note.
If we were in New Zealand we would be going bonkers this week.
