Had one shower in the end but only registered 0.6 mm. Certainly warmer than expected. Got to 30 today.

Great clouds around, but alas all the cells passed to our north. Few ok falls through the northern burbs which is good to see.

Not much change in the progs. Crazy warm uppers on Monday, but cloud and a middle of the day front should stop it getting to hot for most of Vic. Then 850Ts are 22C. That is hot enough to break a bundle of late season records, but well dodge that. Records likely to fall in NSW and Qld.

Bit of rain with and after the change. Moisture infeed it ok, but uplift is pretty weak.

Had a couple of handy showers push through here late this afternoon/evening, probably about 1-3mm all up. Perfect timing as it has keep things nice and moist in the garden with a warm one on Monday just around the corner.

Another warm sticky day today. Uppers too hot for showers though. Not entirely out of the question, but pretty unlikely. Front tomorrow into central areas early arvo.

No real change in the progs.

Btw friend in Brunswick got 22mm from those showers yesterday :?

got to 28.6c yesterday, currently 22c with the cloud breaking up and heading towards something similar again today. As HB mentioned, pretty much on track for a hot strong northerly tomorrow before a showery thundery change in the late afternoon in central areas.

For those of you who maybe interested, a significant weather event is starting to unfold off the North Queensland coast. Tropical cyclone Debbie will most likely be upgraded to Cat 3 soon but it's the next 48 hours of rapid cyclongenesis development that could put this one in the big league. 24C here today. Thick fog early, then a humid sunny arvo. Must admit I like this weather, but it's way warmer than it should be. Had another swim in the pool today which is still 25C :D :o Friends laughed when we put it in, but most people are still thinking 20th Century weather in Melbourne ;)

EC quite keen on a decent band of showers with tomorrow's front. Hope it comes off. Other progs a bit mixed. ACCESS and CMC have been pretty keen.

Mini cold outbreak for Thursday. Could see the odd flurry around Baw Baw. The bays still 22-23C so showers could pack a bit of punch.

29.9c here today again, incredible this run is still going. Tomorrow is certainly breezy and very warm with the outside chance of some sparks with the change. Not much rain for up here (expect 1mm) but eastern suburbs in Melbourne should get a nice water for the garden in the evening.

28.2 here today. We had a little drizzle overnight - just 0.1mm. Must say I am really looking forward to a change in season. Hopefully the cooler spell later this week will mark the start of a proper Autumn.

22C here with a DP of 15C and gusty NNE winds :o Not your normal mid autumn night.

Front just about to cross the SA/Vic border due here early arvo. Some showers on the front which should thicken up during the day. Thinking a couple of mms like, perhaps just even 5mm.

Late season heat records set for SA, NSW and Qld yesterday. May see them broken today. Vic avoided the most intense heat with easterly winds.

The return of garbage windy conditions today. :x :cussing: :cussing: :windsail:

32c here but cool change not far away. Charlton has already gone from 34c to 28c since 11am.

I'll be so happy to see the tail end of this weather. Bring on Autumn and Winter.

Just about 33 degrees here :o . Surely this cold front coming through this afternoon heralds the coming of Autumn proper.
