Tropical rain here for an hour this afternoon, another 21 to the 20mm from overnight, rather damp! Gee the sun came out then it is oppressively yuck! Must be 24 degs with 100% humidity!

Torrential, I'll see if I can get a photo up.
Same in FC. Just checked out my webcam. Raining cats and dogs (proverbially)

Drove through that Ballarat deluge - wow! A mere 7mm here taking us to 20 mm for the event. Still a good fall though.
(Looking at the second line approaching Bendigo, that 'epic fail' is looking shaky SB
)

I'd say you're about to increase your score down there in the next hour or so Sean.

Actually it was a fail in Kangaroo Flat. Event total just 16mm and yet 40mm about 3km North of here. Everything basically went around us....

Well that jump-started our total. 25mm in about 20 minutes, and now 32mm for today and nearly 36mm for the event. Torrential stuff.
System is slowly filling in the gaps, though as always there are winners and loosers
Inbound band looks pretty feeble now. Would usually expect it to fire as it moves out of the plains west of Melbourne. Will see in the next frame or two.

Well I got 4mm yesterday, another 2mm today then just got 30 from that last deluge, gutters overflowing, downpipe popped off and got soaked trying to fix it. Seems to be happening like that a bit now, a months worth of rain in a day. Now to clean up some more.

The heaviest downpour of the event happening here right now. Easily topped the earlier downpour in about a quarter of the time. Rain rate of 130mm/h earlier

It must be very localised, just boring light rain here. It looked good, but then collapsed when crossing the beach.

Yep as expected we missed out, weakened & split apart as it hit the Caroline Springs storm shield. So over this dump of an area.
The storm drought continues for me personally.
Congrats to those of you who got to see some action this afternoon.
