This Advice message is being issued by Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning for Benetook, Birdwoodton, Cabarita, Cardross, Irymple, Karadoc, Karawinna, Koorlong, Lake Benetook, Merbein, Merbein South, Merbein West, Merrinee, Merrinee North, Mildura, Nichols Point, Pirlta, Red Cliffs, Redgrove, Sunny Cliffs, Tarrango, Thurla, Upper Kulnine, Wargan, Yelta.
A mini tornado has hit Merbein. Trees are down and there is flying debris. Power lines are down. Visitors should stay out of the area. People should not travel in severe weather and stay indoors. A second severe storm is expected to affect the wider area from Red Cliffs, Cardross Mildura and Birdwoodton
The next update is expected by 11/11/16 11:00 AM or as the situation changes.
