There's a secondary trough to our southwest towards Colac and the Otways. This should fire as we head towards noon. However it is headed southeast. Touch and go here imho. ACCESS run has a bit here, as does GFS and EC.

Tomorrow looks like a classic cyclonic swly set up with heavy falls :D

Woke up to... Not much, lol. The ground was barely wet. The big blob of rain very much stolen by NSW.

Really quite dry here now. Was digging holes and the soil just looked like sand. In need of a soaking.

well 8mm for here, overcast now with drizzly rubbish, quite breezy from the nw. When will the media stop calling this mini tornado rubbish!

I hope tomorrow is a fail because I will be in the bush watching a car rally!

update, drizzle has cleared, very sticky now with the sun out, 1mm. Rather heavy at the back end of this drizzle patch. Cu should grow now with the sun on the damp ground.

Had some fake wet stuff overnight here, barely 1mm in it.

Currently cloudy with a moderate to fresh North Easterly. I'm actually hoping any showers hold off until at least late afternoon as we have an outdoor party planned for my niece down the road at Keilor.

Pouring up here with small cells just popping up. Gone foggy too. Very humid... shame we can't get some sun to really fire it up.

Well that escalated quickly! After our clear sunny start it turned cloudy but dry, and then about 12.30 the heavens opened, torrential for a few minutes. Seems to be clearing now, but sun is reappearing, so who knows what's coming this afternoon?

Unfortunately there is a small inversion pushing in now behind that trough. Going to cap things. Timing just wrong for us in central areas.

3mm here this arvo, so 5.4mm for the event.

I am watching the back of it lit by the sun, the best angle possibe.
Through the binos and polarised sunnies, the structure is amazing, best I have seen for such a beast.
It looks like a 3D Volcanic Pyroclastic eruption.
Potato cam
EDIT I was just trying to catch Polair against the background of the cloud, no luck, but I waved and they did a 360, coincidence?

Very dissapointing, looked good initially, then all the models put the storms further north, which is where they went last night.

However it did say they'd come more south this morning, but it has not eventuated - would have been nice to hear or see some lighting out of it all, cant remember the last time we had a good storm here
