Cut off low: First week of July

Dull but mostly fine day here. Just another half mm. Misty most of the day.

System starting to wind down with a weak surface low forming and drifting into Bass Strait. Showers becoming a bit patchy and hit/miss.

Meanwhile the next system is showing up south of Perth.

Few showers overnight giving 2mm more here. Event looks to finish on about 30mm which is good for an ECL here. MTD near 50mm so a healthy start.

Almost dry for a couple of days now, ahead of the next system

Suns out now!
Rainfall totals over the last 3days
60mm at work in Macedon
80mm at home at Mt Macedon.
The best rain event for us all year seeing as though we virtually missed the big one back in january.

Enjoying that sun! Another 11 mm for us, so 60 mm for the event and 70 mm plus mtd.

I'd have to go back a couple of years at least to find a better runoff event.
