Rained all night here. Thick drizzly stuff. Surprised to have 26mm in the gauge :D event on 31mm. This mini event has trumped many of the proper ones ;) MTD is now around 110mm so on track for a solid June total :D

Fascinating Synoptics with the upper trough stalled over us and amplifying through inland Australia triggering increasing storms and rain through the inland. Progs showing parts of Qld and the NT may well get record June rainfall from this, then forms a major ECL. GFS now spreads the ECL rain into Gippsland and gives central areas a burst of showers on Monday.

Up to 8 mm here for the dates & raining steadily.

Nothing like the totals to the east but enjoying the fact that these days it seems to rain more often than not - a far cry from just a couple of months ago.

Surprised to see that some parts of Melbourne had over 25mm's in the 24 hours to 9am today.
The Heavier falls were mostly in the outer Northern and eastern suburbs with 34mm's at Epping
31mm's at Greensborough and 28mm's at Lilydale.
Falls were much lighter in outer SE suburbs around my area mostly around 5 or 6mm's
I got just 5.2mm's bringing my MTD to 41.1mm.

Rain heading our way on the 512k radar. Will the ranges stop it all?

Another surprise with this system with rain this morning. 3mm so far and more incoming. GFS and EC after had little or none on the previous run now have rain through today.

Guess we've just got lucky with this wrap-around - usually the ECL wraps miss us in central areas unless the low is closer :D
