Hello everyone.

First of all, a BIG thankyou to Wes for sorting things out whilst I was away, unfortunatley my holidays were on during the start of the season, so things got quite hectic regarding memberships and competition joinings.

If anyone is still wanting to join, or has not heard anything in regards to a reply with a password to enter the competition, please send me a PM ASAP.

Samueliza, John and Tin Roof, are you guys still wanting to join?

There's a first time for everything! :woooo:
I usually suck at tipping, as I always go with 'Who I Want To Win'. Needless to say, my boys (Essendon) have let me down over the past 5-6 years!
I liked the look of the weather station though, so am spending a bit more time on the tips this season (And the odd phone call to Mum)!
He strolls up to the twister, and he says, *have a drink*. And he chucks the bottle into the twister, and it never hits the ground.

Just letting you all know that I have actually chosen my tips for this round, even though it is only showing me getting the away teams. As I have slow internet, the footy website was not working, so I had to do it on my grandparents computer and they saved it there. It should ammend by next round.

I've actually done quite well so far, 6 right. 2 being played now.

A tough weekend of tipping where 5 was the norm, whilst 6 was excellent!
Leroy currently leads the race to the Weather Station!!
On 42 and leading by 4!!

Still a long, long way to go and a tough round ahead starting Friday night with Fremantle vs Collingwood and ending with the struggling Saints vs Essendon.

Hey Wes, have not spoken in ages mate ... :D

Yes well done to Chris who scored the big 8 last week, hope you enjoyed that burger mate :P

At this current time, Ron Kelly is the overall leader with a whopping 84 points, followed closely by Chogobad, Leroy and Mr. G on 81 points.

Best of luck for the remainder of the season. A great prize to be had!

thanks Wes and Jake, more luck than Judgement. Actually, in 5 years of being in Australia, and part of a tipping comp, this is the first time I've done respectably so far. Have come last twice, and runner up last the other two times.

Maybe I'm starting to get this weird game ;) :o

Or maybe my form is tied in to my team - Go Tigers!

Hi everyone!! :)

Well we are getting quite close to the end of the season, however I am reminding all tippers that the competition persists right up until the end of the Grand Final. So keep tipping during the finals to ensure a great finish and it's sure to be a close one!!

At the current time, the top 10 tippers are:

1. Mr G 114
2. chogobad 113
3. Leecy 109
4. chris davies 109
5. Ron Kelly 109
6. Jake Smethurst 108
7. Leroy 108
8. Daniel Clark 104
9. G Man 103
10. cim85 103

Once again, remember to keep tipping during the finals including the Grand Final!!

Thanks Power Storm had not realized the tipping continues through the finals.
Buggered this round up, 5 just not enough. I am upset at myself, I backed Adelaide (odds were juicy) but couldn't bring myself to tip them. I also tipped against my own team (I do that a bit) and they went and beat Collingwood, ah well beating Collingwood is always good, especially when they are travelling so well.
