I don't know if i heard right but apparently the West Coast got fined $5000 for having a mobile phone on the ground at three quarter time.Someone please tell me it's a joke.Then again nothing surprises me with this game anymore same goes for Rugby League

Whilst I agree with your title, I dont see why players need to be speaking on mobile phones during a game. Allegedly it was to their ruck coach in Perth, but come on. The AFL must protect the brand and I support their stance in this situation. Cricketers are forbidden to use a mobile phone during a game, due to the betting controversies, best we keep the same way in AFL.

You cant have players on Mobile Phones during a match. West Coast Eagles one of the richer clubs didnt want to fork out money to bring their ruck coach.
