Plenty of rain here at work and at home, band is quite narrow though. As for snow in Hobart, more energy (heat) in a system will increase volatility. Climate change is settled science.
Now, anyone want to talk about the wet weekend coming up?
Made it to 10mm here in the rain shadow north of the mountain. Expecting this next shower to fade away before it gets here. Ground is wet, tanks are full, don’t need anymore rain.
Raining here, only light but steady. Ready to hear all the ‘global warming must be fake cos it is cold’ stories at work now. Lawn here is still soggy from last time, planting violets in the wet areas this year. Been good rain since I installed tanks almost 2 years ago. Off to Moe now, stay warm peop...

Been steady rain wherever I have been today from Phillip Island to Broadmeadows to Lilydale. Fun day to be driving a truck. Keilor seems to be topping out at 454mm with 198mm in the last hour. Might be a slight issue with that reading I think.
Change coming across the bay now, any chance of decent storms?
(Edit) we got plenty of wind and about 17 single raindrops but no thunder here in Mount Evelyn.
Nice bit of rain here filling the tanks ok. Gave the veggie garden a good water yesterday so all this is a bonus. Still got spiders in the AWS so reading 0mm again.
Well it looks like rain, it feels like rain too but me AWS tells me we have had 0.3mm of rain. Oh, and a spider is living in my rain gauge. May have to get a manual gauge I think.
Our street in Mount Evelyn still had houses without power last night, took until monday night for the gum tree blocking the road to get moved. Most of the trees down were from having wet feet and the soil giving way. Waiting to see what happens with the rest of this period, garden drying out on top ...
