Sky is clearing and a full moon is rising, maybe a frost tonight? its been a crap day here, drizzly and cold, not over 8C . Getting a bit sick of everything always being sodden.
It would be nice to have some sun for a while.

A beautiful calm day up at mount macedon, lots of sun, very cold though, just 4.6C at our place. We have had a whole week where the temp hasnt gone over 6.5C. brrrrr

Interestingly it is only 4.4c at Trentham as well. It pretty nice here at the mo, calm a little sun and 8.5C

I have just returned from a day at Toolangi, a guy i know up there said that they had snow on the ground until about 4am this morning. It rained on it after that and it all went. It was 3.5C in Toolangi at lunchtime. I came back home over Mount Macedon, 3C there at 3.30pm, no sign of any snow. What ...

Its really not that cold here atm, it is 9c , a bit warmer than yesterdays max. sun is out, nothing exciting happening yet at all

Any news of when the cold and low level snow will be through this area? I am away from here tomorrow so i might miss it which is sad but i am going to be at Toolangi (650m) so i might see some up there!

Bit of everything here today, some showers some sun, a lot of wind and a high of 11.1C which is quite mild for here in july and then it dropped by the mid afternoon. 5.5C now feels colder out in the wind. I like the sound of that 500m snow for Thursday sounds good!

Just back from a foggy Mount Macedon, the wind had dropped completely, 5.5mm in the gauge and the best we could do today was 5.9C, chilly as!

Maybe a little snow on the way for Mount Macedon on Tuesday?

Reasonably steady light rain since dawn here. Actually hope we dont get much more, it is wet enough in this area. 9c at the moment. We have had some very mild days and especially mild nights over the last 4 or 5 days here. Hardly any frost this winter so far.

There were snow falls of up to 12cm in the NSW central tablelands yesterday. Between Bathurst and Lithgow. Great pics on the Weatherzone forum.

The guys that are building my house up on the mount reported that is was snowing up there yesterday morning. I have been in the city for a few days and missed it again! Twice in two weeks.
