OMG!!! The wind is insane

So the further west you are the greater the chance for storms today? Not looking forward the expected wind later…

25mm here for the event, both Werribee and Lerderderg rivers are up and flowing fast through town.

Belting down again, I’ve had 20mm so far and it’s adding up quickly atm… very wet October with over 100mm so far. Sitting on 680mm for the YTD, almost 200mm over the long term average for Bacchus Marsh, the clay soil is saturated!!

Plenty of thunder and lightning here, foggy up on the hills too.

Looks like a nice solid band of rain moving up from the south, going to be a wet afternoon.

20mm exactly here, beautiful morning out in the garden with everything dripping wet.

5mm here, almost at the October average and 635mm YTD which is above average. The gardens have really responded to the higher rainfall, my grevilleas and kangaroo paws are spectacular

Watching that cell to my NE, it has become active and the skies are getting dark.

35mm for the event so far, YTD rainfall sits at 620mm so that’s 100mm above the long term average for B.Marsh.

The Werribee river through Bacchus Marsh has been responding very quickly to rainfall over the last few months, indicating a wet catchment up stream. I’m expecting some flooding this week.

The Werribee river is flowing very well through B.Marsh too, the walking trail is cut off this morning.

A very welcome 30mm here today.

A nice 15mm of steady rain and no wind for a change.

Really have missed out on rain here in B.Marsh, only 15mm MTD… just lots of wind!!
Off topic, SW WA have had a really wet July this year!! My parents in Perth have had 230mm to yesterday and
some spots in the Perth hills are well over 300mm…

Frosty this morning with 0c, already down to 2c already this evening… the wood fire is keeping it a balmy 22c inside

The latest met eye forecast is very wet for here… 25-35mm for Wednesday and 20-30mm on Thursday.
