Belting down again, I’ve had 20mm so far and it’s adding up quickly atm… very wet October with over 100mm so far. Sitting on 680mm for the YTD, almost 200mm over the long term average for Bacchus Marsh, the clay soil is saturated!!
5mm here, almost at the October average and 635mm YTD which is above average. The gardens have really responded to the higher rainfall, my grevilleas and kangaroo paws are spectacular
The Werribee river through Bacchus Marsh has been responding very quickly to rainfall over the last few months, indicating a wet catchment up stream. I’m expecting some flooding this week.
Really have missed out on rain here in B.Marsh, only 15mm MTD… just lots of wind!!
Off topic, SW WA have had a really wet July this year!! My parents in Perth have had 230mm to yesterday and
some spots in the Perth hills are well over 300mm…
