Re: Rain Event - Thursday May 30th - June 4th 2013

Absolutely pouring down her in Castlemaine I think that the radar might be under reading.
Some of the thunder is like a real solid sharp loud crack, made me jump when i went
outside to have a look. Any chance that there might be hail in some of these storms.

Re: Increasing heat, humidity and storms - Nov 3 - 7

There is some hope, looking at the radar some showers are going past to the west of here.
They don't look too exciting yet, but better than i had thought would happen

Re: September warm wave and troughs 26-28 September

Woken at six by some thunder, 5-10mm here at the most expected today.
Might get lucky with a storm later, cloud moving too fast and looking too dry.
More thunder as i type, better go and have a look, and to the point of this post GO HAWKS :D

Best looking sat image I've seen for a while. Looks poised to swing in on the north westerlies, in to
the northern slopes. Hoping for a storm, light rain/showers here at the moment

Re: Return to Winter: July 26 - ???

Looking at the radar again that yellow area further south would be
heavy soaking rain.

Re: Return to Winter: July 26 - ???

Good, steady rain at the moment, as i type its getting heavier. It would be nice
to see it stay for a while. Seem to be in the right place looking at the radar.
Can't remember if the gauge was emptied. not good

Re: Developing Pressure Trough - Potential Widespread Rainfa

HI Folks just updated my location, just cold & a bit spitty (strange word but sums it up) here this morning.
Forecasting weather is a bit like footy tipping, TOO HARD, will wait and see what happens.

G'day everyone, er, sorry Geoff i'm ashamed to admit that i don't keep rainfall stats.
I forget to check the gauge and they wouldn't be correct. Very overcast here today.

Re: Developing Pressure Trough - Potential Widespread Rainfa

Ok I'll stop lurking, 29mm so far here in Campbells Creek which is the better part of Castlemaine,
Campbells Creek has a nice flow of water going down it. Yes Geoff those showers last evening were
very wet, 22mm came from those showers.
