Overhyped by the look of it (and that's a good thing). Melbourne 32, and mildura 35 (forecast was 44) with cloud and rain moving in it seems?

Week? Feels like the majority of the year has been cloudy. I guess that's the reason why Melbourne is Australia's least sunny capital

I actually dislike the way BoM is going about this event. The chance of storms today was only ever possible to the north of the city, yet they still went ahead with a "one size fits all" approach. They really need to split their forecasting to 4 regions for Melbourne and its outskirts

Nice cell just now here. Absolutely teeming down. Queensland-style. Humid, no wind. Rain coming straight down. I expected a little something later, so this is a bonus.

Seems like this El Nino is delivering more widespread rain over Australia than last years La Nina.

Has been quite weak overall- OVERALL.
