18-35.5C here today, sunny calm, a weak storm tried to brew over Lake Glenmaggie but petered out, will be a hot night in my flat roofed house.

35C here today, equal hottest day for this season since Dec 4th, and we got 1.5mm from a high level storm mid arvo, our first storm for December. Lovely mild calm evening for a bbq and no doubt a "bat attack" to pass over us at dusk.

Agree HB. I reckon the brief burst of heat will herald in the arrival of the moister atmosphere from the La Nina/IOD regions, mid January looks to be stormy and wet to me.

Wind finally backed from 5 days ex S/SW to an arvo easterly, still cloudy and very cool though, 4th day in a row in the low 18C's - I tallied 22mm here for this thread. Certainly a cold and windy week.

So much for the "heralding of a period of sultry weather" this low is set to hang around to the E of Tassie, and create a "period of wintery weather":

We got 16mm from steady overnight prefrontal rain, which followed a muggy calm overcast day of 26.5C.

Picked up 8.5mm from a very localised storm here this arvo.

After 35C on Sunday, then a very windy westerly Monday, it rained overnight Monday giving us 7.75mm.

Maybe we may see a storm and more showers this arvo?

Paddocks have dried markedly around here, irrigation now in full swing, seems a good chance for storms in Gippsland this arvo and overnight. 32C here yesterday, tempered back by seabreeze mid arvo.

13mm overnight/early morning here, with some high based C-C lighting as the front rapidly crossed after dark.

Had the odd spits of rain out this way too over the past hour. Very overcast, 59%RH - going by the TT charts on GFS/CMC, any storm that tries this arvo will be weak out this way. Perhaps more chance of an embedded one overnight.
