Hopefully the bad weather holds off on Saturday morning. I'm going for a walk in the Dandenongs.

I read somewhere that the action will start around 4pm in Melbourne today.

Yeah, it felt like my couch was a waterbed in Templestowe lol

Had a couple of hail showers here with the first one covering the place like it was snow!

This weather event is still pretty hard to tell if it will affect Melbourne badly or not. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I somewhat feel NSW is sucking majority of the moisture out of it.

I actually doubted this system more than last weeks because this week it was isolated all over the place while last week it was all in one spot! Doubt there will be anymore storms today in Melbourne tbh.

Storms are starting to fire up in the west where the severe weather warning starts!

BOM have updated their forecast to a max of 45mm for Templestowe (40mm in the CBD).

Yeah my weather station recorded lightning around 1:30am.

Since my weather station uses a haptic rain sensor would 18.9mm from 12am up until now seem right for Templestowe? https://tempestwx.com/station/29972

I'm glad Melbourne isn't receiving the rain that Sydney is getting atm

Been raining constantly here from the late afternoon into the evening here in Templestowe. I was working in Camberwell/Glen Iris today and wow. So many trees were shreaded of their leaves! I'm a gardener so I had to clean up this mess!
