Favorable set up developing for us in the Dandenongs, and with it going on for most of the week we could end up with some big totals. The only drawback could be a flow that's too southerly for us, but with the bay at 17C and some pretty cold air all week it wouldn't surprise me if we get over 50mm, ...

EC has dropped our expected rainfall from 72mm to 30mm, that'll do fine.

Oh well, lets just see what eventuates. Remember up until a couple of days ago some of the models were indicating mostly dry weather through the rest of the month. EC currently forecasting 72mm here in the next nine days!

Yes, I noticed that, but it's been doing that for a few days now, flip-flopping from big rains to next to nothing on alternate runs.
EC still keen for reasonable falls from the 19th-22nd.

There's a whole batch of showers currently moving up the lower end of the bay, I wonder how far they'll get? The coming week looks absolutely glorious. After the recent rain here a sunny mild/warm week will do wonders for the start of the autumn colour season. GFS getting very excited about next wee...

No more showers here today, so event finished on 17mm taking our March total to 69mm, an awful lot better than I thought it was going to be half way through the month.
YTD = 240mm.
