Man it is so humid!! 26c with a 21c dew point… Had a short sharp shower too.

Over 50mm now… should ease soon but some more cells are rapidly developing around Daylesford/Ballarat so it’s not over yet.

Storm developed right above me then exploded just south of town, plenty of close CG’s and the power is flickering frequently.

Just checked my weather station data, and yes my barometric pressure jumped around a bit too.

The main Melbourne forecast has dropped the “possibility severe” thunderstorms from its latest forecast… yet a possibly dangerous one is moving in from the west…

Looks scary from Bacchus Marsh, heaps of pulsating lightning and a shelf cloud is coming over the hills.

Certainly looks nasty!! Watching slowly edge closer and I’m hearing plenty of rumbles now.

23mm at home, I’ve been up in Broken Hill and Mildura. Nice and green up at B.Hill with plenty of water lying around.

Quite an active afternoon with plenty of thunder and lightning, 3 storms in total but missed a direct hit. 5mm today and 9mm yesterday.

12mm of heavy drizzle since midnight, starting to get heavier now with a gusty se wind. The clay soil is really saturated here, I can see pools of water in the market gardens down in the valley below.

My weather station clocked an 80km gust at 5:30 this morning, quite a lot of damage on the Avenue of honour with some 100 year old elm trees snapped off at the base
