45.5mm's for me in the 24 hours to 9am this morning after a very dry period. I only recorded 11.8mm's from the 18th of January up until yesterday here in Sebastopol.
Ballarat Airport had 46.8mm's up to 9am this morning.

Big dry continues here in Ballarat just 6.6mm's in the last 53 days at my place in Sebastopol.
Only one day with more than one mm in that time.
MTD is 0.2mm's at my place the same at Ballarat Airport.

As I expectged the sun did come out in Ballarat this afternoon and the temperature then shot up. From around 24 degrees at 1pm the temperature has so far reached 34.4c at Ballarat Airport with winds gusting to 72kmh. MY PWS has so far reached 33.6c and gusts are getting up to 52kmh. Not very pleasant.

Unusual day here temperature reached 26.9c at 10.45am on my PC, then dropped back to 24.0c at 12.30pm under heavily overcast skies with just a few drops of rain at one point. Quickfire storm though here around 1.30pm 5mm's of rain in 10 minutes loud thunder and some pea sized hail.
Temp dropped from 35 to 25 in that storm but is rising again now up to 29c Dp is 18c

Active high based storm just passed to the south of me here in Ballarat - Sebastopol no rain but several CG's and loud thunder that woke me up. Temp still 23 at 3.55am. That's the 5th thunder day this month.
Tracker shows plenty of activity in the SW of the state so may get some more later.

Yes just a 5% chance of Rain in Ballarat today according to the BOM but there has been very light intermitant rain here since 1pm and even now there is still the odd spot. Only 0.2mm's in the gauge at my place (Sebastopol) and the same amount at Ballarat Airport. Temperature Maxed out at 17.7c here ...

Cracking storm just through here very lightning active and lots of pea sized hail which whitened the ground.

Sebastopol southern suburb of Ballarat
