Re: Series of cold fronts 23-30 April

20mm here now for today, that takes me to exactly 300mm YTD, looking back to last year I had only 26mm up until this point...

Re: Series of cold fronts 23-30 April

Just 10mm until I hit 300mm YTD, average for the Marsh is approximately 500mm... complete contrast to this time last year. Looking at photos I took of the Werribee river valley it was totally parched last April.

Re: Strong front with wintery blast: April 10-14

Not a lot of rain up here today, just a few blustery showers, not liking this cold windy crap already...☹️
My parents place in Perth's eastern burbs hit 40.4c this afternoon... Incredible for April!!

Re: Warm to hot with a change: March 17-20

Feeling better now, the last few days has been very confronting and was getting me quite depressed... went grocery shopping this morning and things were a lot calmer and shelves were stocked. All my family live in Perth so I’m really missing them right now!! Hopefully we have some interesting weathe...

45mm in total here, 3 months in a row well above average rainfall wise 😃 My new native garden is going bonkers... grevilleas, banksia, kangaroo paws and grafted gums are looking very healthy.

I am currently camping up past Albury on Lake Hume, I’ve never seen the lake so low!! 16% capacity... The hills have a tinge of green due to recent thunderstorms but the area around Benalla and Wangaratta is incredibly dry 😢

It is so incredibly green around here! I’ve had just over 135mm since Jan 19th to now, having had a few direct hits by thunderstorms.

I ended up with 35mm in the gauge today, the entire monthly average for the Marsh. I can hear happy frogs in the Werribee river down the bottom of the valley.

Looks like some more development happening to the west of here. It is so good seeing everything so green around town this time of year! Parks, nature strips and surrounding hills.
