Looks like a line of storms heading my way. Would be the first rain since .... I can't remember when. Watching the radar with interest.

A few storms along the Murray today. Hail reported in Katunga. 5 mm in Cobram with more to come I think.

A nice little storm just passed through. Only scored 6 mm but I'll take whatever I can get! Won't have to water the garden tonight.

Another quick downpour scored 2 mm. Very muggy. Temp stuck on 28C most of the day. Can't see us reaching the predicted max of 38.

Woke up to an unexpected thunderstorm this morning. 5mm in the gauge - best total so far this year. Still humid, expecting 38 today. Hopefully more rain to come.

Just had an intense storm pass through Cobram. Hail, thunder and lightning. Only lasted a few minutes. Sky looks ominous. More to come from the SW I think.

4 mm here as well. Disappointing yet again. Northern Vic farmers suffering with very little rain this year.

Thunder, lightning and strong winds here, but next to no rain. Once again looks like all the action is heading south.

A welcome 10 mm here so far. Light, steady rain since about 4.00 this morning. Can already notice the grass looking greener!

Big upgrade in tomorrow's BOM forecast for Northern Country. 5 to 15 mm and 95% chance of rain! Hasn't rained here since March. Hope it comes off.

Still zero rain here for the month. Total for the year so far only 36 mm (YTD average 130 mm). Average max temp this month sitting on 28.1C. BOM predicting a max of 37 tomorrow for Cobram. April record is 37.0 on 4 Apr 1986. Total rainfall to date this year only 34 mm. Looks like we might get a few showers on Saturday (fingers crossed).

7 mm here in Cobram. Was hoping for more, but a good drop for the garden. Just had a little storm push through with a few rumbles.

Just had the first rain in nearly 2 months - a whopping 1 mm! Hopefully more to come this weekend.

Big dark cloud to the west of here. Could this be the first drop of rain in over 6 weeks...? (probably not)

After endless days of clear skies.... it's ridiculous that I'm stirred just by seeing a cloud.

A welcome 14 mm from the band that just passed. Good soaking rain - perfect for the garden.

A whopping 1 mm overnight. The rain band fell apart at the northern edge. Drizzling now, and great to have some cooler air after a run of 10 days above 35C. 20 mm total for the event with a couple of nice storms, so can't complain.

Still waiting for the change to hit here. Currently on a hot and sticky 30C.
