Re: Series of troughs then a deep low: April 1-5

Just tipped out 57.4mm from the manual gauge! Makes 85.4mm MTD. I can't remember that happening here for a long time. We had a few rumbles here overnight but way to sporadic to record.

That low is starting to spin up in Western Vic. On the satpic loop she is really starting to crank. Baro here currently 1005.2 but I am expecting it to maybe go sub 1000 this arvo / evening.

Re: COVID-19 Discussion and Information

So far so good here, but we are basically home bodys anyway; only going out for shopping or work. I started work from home yesterday and noticed I was much happier. I put it down to not being exposed to the "herd gloom" psyche of the office. I have always been sensitive to the moods of others. Talki...

Re: Warm to hot with a change: March 17-20

Was hoping for some rumbles Thursday night but quickly became obvious it was all further south. The anticyclonic gloom is pretty apt at the moment. We need some sun :D

Latest MJO forecast is showing a big pulse over the Timor Sea area around March 10. If it verifies, could be fun times ahead :D

If this lot slides just south of us again (as it has most of the day) I will be a little bit grumpy!
I got nothing at work last Thursday, or when I got home. While I was at work, home was slammed by >20 cgs. My son said there were gunshots every few seconds. That made me REALLY grumpy!
