Basically nothing in Sale while Mt Moornapa 40km N rec'd 32mm in about 40 minutes from a storm full of CG and noise as it headed S/E over a few hours. The trajectory of the next line/stormy front approaching from the W also has a good chance of another clean miss of Sale, see how it goes. :D Looks ...

Around 25mm here so far from the two storms, and part of that second one came under the roof tiles and through the exhaust fan into the kitchen! Luckily it's mainly over the sink. That hasn't happened since the storm in Feb last year that flooded parts of the town. Crazy heavy rain. Steamy hot and s...

The sky over Tulla is looking unstable this morning
Yep, at Warragul too. Been watching it develop all day. Some unusual bird calls this morning, not even sure what bird it was but the Currawongs were replying. Hoping for a bit of storm action tomorrow.

[quote=hillybilly post_id=115078 time=1581678373 user_id=82] Few gauges showing falls in the 90s mm. Looks to have peaked just south of the Princess Highway. Just checked my numbers and our peak rainfall rate was 250mm/hr so ever minute at the peak was dropping 4mm. Adds up quick when it is that hea...

Band B looks like it is going to catch up with Band A :). Only 4mm here from Band A but spectacular shelf cloud incoming, so perhaps a bit more from Band B. Lightning tracker showing plenty of action in that second band too. https://www.lightningmaps.org/?lang=en#m=sts;t=4;s=0;o=0;b=0.00;ts=0;y=-38...

Plenty of flooding out on the roads around Warragul and we saw at least one business premises flooded out. Quite a few huge branches down around the place too. Half of my gravel driveway is now all over the pavers in the back yard. Looks like two rivers ran down there. Can't get to the gauge outside...

Backyard is flooded and we're on the side of a hill!!! Rain is also coming inside through the exhaust fan in the kitchen. Holy cr@p! It sure looked epic on radar. Epic indeed! We've had some pretty wild storms in the 8 years I've been here but nothing like this before. Thunder is still rumbling and...
