What a night. 87mm here. We were hit hard. Storms were mostly going around us yesterday and, after going into the evening with only 5mm, I thought maybe we might clock about 20mm all up. But it just unleashed with intense rain at times, all going for a solid 6 to 7 hours, plus some additional burst...
It’s time to unleash
Radar filling in nicely as the cold front interacts with the Low
Interestingly the Bom have cancelled the Thunderstorm warning but have warning of Squalls for Port Phillip Bay for next 2 hours
Picked up the edge of the storm last night
Plenty of action though with lots of lightning and 15.4mm rain
That was the 3rd weather event from the NE ..very unusual

Been rain shadowed this morning however thickening up nicely now with steady rain now falling in quiet Highett
Radar looking promising
Not game to predict this one
Could be 20mm or a lot higher
Solid upgrade by BOM with 10-40 mm on Monday
Easterly dip looks like continuing with Positive SAM plus Ultra warming Oceans (Tasman)
Uncharted territory imho
18mm here today...very happy with this Hard to gauge with looking at the radar...I think I’m going cross eyed... The Rain may return tonight from NE which is unusual in itself with the low staying in mallee region Heaps of instability all the way up to BNE with very dangerous cells around at times.....
