Struggling to believe these cells aren't lightning active. I'm standing on top of Forest Hill Chase got a perfect view to my west and absolutely nothing! What a fickle hobby this storm chasing is, shame I love it so much!

I think ILS is onto something. With very little high cloud today, temps have gone a little higher than expected. First cell on the radar out past Ballarat appears to be moving east. Convection looking ok across the northern suburbs, I'm wondering if we could have a repeat of Thursday night (that wou...

Aerological Diagram for 10pm last night looks interesting with a lot of instability above the cap. Will be interesting to see today's sounding, but looks like we could have quite the show if/when it breaks the cap. Hi All, Thanks for the comments - it did take a while to complete, but I had that much fun and it's been literally where I live. Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought that there was ever going to be a Tornado producing Supercell less than 5km from my house. I'm currently working on co...

24-12-11 Day Was out Christmas Shopping, when looking out from Greensborough Plaza I could see a cell with massive convection going up to my north. Got home, checked the radar, not much rainfall but looked pretty good and figured it was worth a chase. Convection Looked ok for that cell. http://farm...
