It is humid and overcast, but a very high cloud base. It's going to take a long time to get going.

20mm is the upper end of my prediction.
Rain to north now Strato Seems to be a slow moving system, give it a chance to get going.

Pretty good result though, 41mm for the (extended) event and radar suggests it's not over yet.
LOL, find a dictionary, Inadequate is 0 last 24 hours and less than 5 for the whole event.! ;)

Only had a few mm's here was hoping for a bit more, but didn't have great expectations.
Doesn't really look that likely today but bom have put out a brown rot warning for expected rain???????

GFS has yet another big tropical system for the Top-End and Eastern NSW later in December. Not much happening here except persistent South-easterlies....
Its good though they are not hot northerlies.

Re: Becoming hot then rain and storms: Dec 13-20

I think this current period of our climate for us needs to be renamed.
Something like

La Duda

Though with a bit of luck we might still get the odd trough or 2 move through for a bit of stormy weather.

Re: Low crossing Vic 22 - 23 Nov

Storm up at Cobram, that would be right if you a decent storm that place will get one.
Some damage, lightning and grass fires. A bit of heat probably helped.
Looks like more moving into the Mallee, Wimmera, would not be wanted up there!
