Someone must be getting very wet from those cells, not moving

Re: Victoria - Warm then more rain - 13th-23rd Jan 2020

Same here Dane, flat as a pancake, can see some of the convection to the east,
they look mean on the radar, to some extent I am happy to not be under the worst.
Bom is warning for large hail.
Hopefully some rain tomorrow, but might be in the hole again

Looks like storms developing Ballarat and to the north and n/west.
Might not be too dry though Charlton is showing 5mm in 3 minutes.
And knocked 12 degree off the temp

Re: Vic Trough/Front Nov 2-4 2019

Rain started here 7 am with a monsoonal type dump for 5 mins.
The SWW has moved to the east of here now, hard to know how
much I will get. But it will be enough to make it all green again.

Re: Climate Driver Discussion 2019 (Enso, IOD, PDO , SAM)

Looks like the +ve IOD is going to head towards Neutral by summer. Although a neutral/weak El-Nino appears to keep hanging around. http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/enso/ I'm going to crunch some numbers. The last 5 years (2015-2019) seem to be quite similar to 1987-1991.... Yes it looks like it accord...

Re: Climate Driver Discussion 2019 (Enso, IOD, PDO , SAM)

Thanks Folks for showing us this and the explanations.
On the 10 hpa level it shows an extra circulation just to the south of Aus, which is
sort of showing in the 70 hpa level.
Does this mean anything?
Cheers

Re: Vic - Antarctic cold wave 7 - 12 Aug 2019

Oh well that's it I am giving up on seeing snow here again, last time was about in 95 with a couple of good snow flurry showers. Another 10 mm to add to the total up to 40 now. That is good, the ground is wet, the creeks are running specially around Daylesford. I will give the snow bunnies time to h...
