Storms now firing up in the west of the state! Hopefully this gives central a chance to see a flash or 2 tonight

Looks like some convection happening out west, could be a storm around Melbourne's West/North West later ?

Looks like we could be in for a record of days in a row below 20, for this late in the year? All these constant cold spells could mean heatwaves to make up for it in Summer?

The band out west on radar doesn't look to severe ? Will it develop as it heads toward Melbourne?

Yes! got up instantly ran outside to cover the car outside! biggest hail I have seen since Christmas day 2011. The biggest stones were close to 2cm but they were not rounded, just chunks of ice. 0.0mm here today and clear. Every shower dies on our doorstep down to 6.2C now.

And the usual break up over the north western suburbs happens again... Just light to moderate rain with gusts of wind.

Heavy fog here, Visibility below 100 meters, 2.9C right now,, the min was just 0.2C the lowest so far. This morning doesn't feel as cold as the others maybe because it really damp and so much fog?

Can it possibly be stormy all night? The current storm band in Central Vic area looks to be connecting to the storm band in the NW of the state? Rain getting heavier here.

The temperature of the bay right now is higher than the normal March average max!

Looking at the visible loop I say most likely there will be storms later on. 26/ DP 20 atm.
