Both EC and ACCESS are keen for more storms overnight and I think the radar looks quite good with development. Stuff building to the west as you mentioned HB. Have not looked at the uppers recently but recall a small upper trough moving through Vic sometime today, would help with development/lift.

8c here and 2-3 in Melbourne! How does that work at 330m?
You'll find the temperature will drop a tonne under a shower. Colder air from aloft will be entrained in the precip, also the air will cool as drops evaporate in an unsaturated environment where you are.
Models agreeing on big falls in NE Victoria around 100mm. Gfs brings the heaviest falls a big further west than others into North Central and more rain in Melbourne. Models have the heaviest rain in Melbourne starting early hours - morning Thursday where we should hopefully see 20mm (gfs has 40-50mm).
Never seen this before - where it’s still raining dirt? After a solid few hours of rain the street gutters are totally brown and flowing fast. You’d think it was just prefrontal but it’s still so muddy everywhere? Crazy
Radar filling in nicely around the west. Lightning and thunder but no rain yet. Slight green tinge to my SW (hail?) but could be wrong. Ready to unleash rain here
