It's crazy to have not had any rain for two months and then get a months worth in a few hours.
Victorian weather sucks, especially in the warm half of the year.
It just crept over 30° at my place yesterday. 30.2° for about half an hour.
Hideously hot night. It was still 24.5° at 2am.
Back to a more comfortable 16° after the change drifted in silently at 7.30am.
We had our first night with a 20+ minimum and highly likely to have our first 30° temp for this summer. It's 27° now. Only a light northerly breeze so far.
January gave us 180mm of rain and thirteen days with a sub 20° max. Perfect summer month for me!
Pouring at Mt Macedon ever since 3pm
We had 6mm from a thunderstorm early this morning.
We have had a further 10mm since then.
Amazing January. Wet, green and no day over 30° for the whole summer to date.
Pouring in Macedon. The green summer continues. I haven't put the watering system on since about the 12/12. Quite remarkable. Wish every year was like this.

I forgot to go look at the gauge at home before I left this morning. There was a long period of heavy th...
32.5mm so far today. I'm actually surprised it's not a higher total considering that it has been raining since 7am. 74.5mm YTD. I think that this is the best start to a year since we have lived up here. I remember a few years back, possibly 2019, where it took until early May to crack the 100mm ytd ...
