We got smased at Warranwood by those cells yesterday. Got a heap of hail and probably 20mm of rain.

Fininshed up with 50mm, best result for months. None of the programs were even close.

35mm so far, we usually nail another 15mm overnight in these south west cold moist systems due to our geography.

Extremely ominous projections from the models for Brisbane area next week. Thoughts with them, it must be terrible after last years floods still fresh.

Neat shots Ricky, really enjoyed the Lovejoy image and the lightning wiht an Orion backdrop. That triple bolt was sure spectacular.
Plenty of instability at the moment. Missed direct action last night, but did get a far off lightning show to the NE at midnights.

Plenty of activity directly over head, towers and storm seeding looking good. Not a lot on the west last look, but guess it can change quickly, south looked more immediate threat, though never copped a thunderstorm from that direction.

Haha Ricky, it reminded me of my mothers photography, she always manages to somehow take a partial shot of her finger almost always:) .... 25 deg C , crickets producing decent noise...sound of summer...still been mighty mild this year. Have the feeling that cells will pop up in your area later today.

38 mm overnight, rain started late and ruined the lunar eclipse view unfortunately. Zero wind, neat midnight storm.

35mm accrued today, radar is underestimating the precip rate, very blowy and 14 deg C.

Was on the eastern edge of that severe cell moving towards Dandenong. The inflows were incredible, low flying clouds being sucked up the monster. Never seen anything like it before.
